Virgo Zodiac Linocut Print

This Virgo art print is a hand pressed lino print inspired by the Greek zodiac. This is part of my Duality of the Zodiac collection (1/12), a reinterpretation of the traditional symbols. For Virgo, the traditional symbol is of a young virgin, in its stead a deer was selected, due to its close ties to Artemis, who in mythology was a virgin goddess and powerful huntress, along with protector of maidens.

Each one was lovingly hand carved by me, and based on original pencil illustrations. The paper this was printed on is on high quality 100 g/m^2 acid free Hahnemuhle Paper.
